O, Soul, Feel Thy Worth
advent sonnet written to my soul
Long lay the world in sin and error pining; till He returned and the soul felt its worth.

”O, Soul, Feel Thy Worth”
O, soul, dost thou still feelest not thy worth, When the fullness of God was pleased to dwell In a body born from the earth He birthed, Unveiling Yahweh as Immanuel? And when light unrobed put not sin to death, He bled love untarnished 'neath darkness' blade; The Divine chose the dusts of human flesh Then lay His own bones in a sinner's grave. This babe's sacred blood was drained to fill Thy soul with the Spirit that searches God. We thought incarnation beyond His will Yet He bore the flesh to unrobe thy sod. Thus, the divine took on humanity, To make us temples of divinity.

This is beautiful. :)
